Anytime there is a water loss or loss of pressure due to a water leak, we will issue a boil advisory. The boil advisory usually lasts several days until the Health Department tests our water and the sample comes back clear. If you notice that your water is milky, that is due to air in the water lines. We recommend that customers turn on an outside faucet to clear up their water lines and help alleviate any air trapped in the water lines.
